Clemson AWM Pi-Mile Run

Join the Clemson Chapter of the Association for Women in Mathematics on Saturday, April 4th, 2020 for this math-themed 5K to support young students in STEM! The funds raised by this event will be used to provide need-based scholarships for middle-school aged students to attend Project WISE, a week-long summer camp at Clemson University designed to inspire young students to pursue STEM careers through unique learning experiences in biology, chemistry, mathematics, and engineering.

Participants will take a 3.14-mile loop around Nettles Park in Clemson, in addition to receiving a t-shirt with registration and having the opportunity to win prizes. No need to brush up on your algebra or calculus skills... Just grab your best pair of running shoes and come on out. We look forward to seeing you there!

Note: The event will be held rain-or-shine. Registration is non-refundable, as all proceeds will be donated to the Project WISE Summer Camp. In the event of an unlikely cancellation, race participants will still receive their event t-shirts.
