Wonder what is being constructed on the Clemson Campus these days?

 

Well — get out your Sketch Book, put on your walking shoes and come join AIA Architects and members of the Clemson Architectural Foundation for an Architectural Adventure Day of Sketching. 

Please join Prof. Lynn Craig, FAIA, RIBA; Sam Herin, AIA CAF President and Prof. Jim Stevens, AIA Architecture Department Head, as we walk to several new buildings and landscapes on the campus.

 

THIS ARCHITECTURAL ADVENTURE DAY OF SKETCHING…
begins at 9:30 AM, where we will meet in the Lee 3 Parking lot and have a short introduction to our campus “walkabout.” at 10:00 AM, we head out for the Cooper Library Central Campus, view the new Watt Innovation Center and the new Cadden Chapel.

At 11:00 AM, we pause at the Cooper Reflection Pond en route to the new College of Arts and Humanities Building and the new Daniel Hall Expansion.   On our return walk to the Lee 3 parking lot, we will view the new Central Spine Landscape Park adjacent to Perimeter Road.

From the Lee 3 parking lot, we drive to the Madren Conference Center, Sole on The Green restaurant “Joes Place” for lunch at 1:00 PM, Dutch treat. After lunch, we can walk over to the under-construction Alumni Center for a viewing.

Returning to Sole on The Green at 2:00 PM for a wrap-up social and goodbyes.
