About this Event
Dr. Jordan Tama, Provost Associate Professor at the School of International Service at American University, will be giving an online research talk, “Bipartisanship and US Foreign Policy: Cooperation in a Polarized Age” on Wednesday, March 6 at 2 pm (EST). Although Democrats and Republicans in Washington appear to live in different realities today, many of them still cooperate when they turn their attention overseas. Drawing on his new book, "Bipartisanship and US Foreign Policy," Dr. Tama will examine the surprising persistence of foreign policy bipartisanship as well as the frequent coexistence of bipartisanship and intra-party division on international issues.
