Moving Student Organization Idea to Community

Begin, Belong, & Become: Moving a Student Organization from an Idea to a Community

Student Organizations have unique potential to help members follow their passions, make connections to Clemson and their peers, and learn more about their own leadership style. However, consistently making these opportunities for connection can be difficult with busy schedules, other commitments, and new leaders not being sure what their members want from an organization. In this session, we’ll discuss the leadership practices that can help members create meaningful connections in college, including:

The Spring Organization Series offers an opportunity to learn about topics relevant to running your organization effectively and to build skills that will enable you to lead your organization in fulfilling your mission. We will publicly recognize all organizations that complete at least 3 of the 5 sessions.
