Bee A Friend to Pollinators

Join us as we enter the world of the small but mighty pollinators that live alongside us in the Southeastern United States! In Bee a Friend to Pollinators, educators will experience the impact of pollinators and develop a plan for implementing pollinator education in their classrooms, schools, and communities.

As a participant in this course, you will discover the importance of pollination and identify the insects and plants that make it happen. You will also find ways to get your students and communities involved in pollinator conservation through engaging activities, books, and lessons.

Participants will receive the following course materials:

  • USB drive including all lesson plans and curriculum from each online module
  • A set of insect ID books and guides for your pollinator friendly classroom
  • What If There Were No Bees? By Suzanne Buckingham Slade
  • Flower Talk by Sara Levine
  • Extra goodies provided by our funding partners.
