Autism Transition Workshop: Bridging High School to College

Clemson University Student Accessibility Services and Spectrum Program will be hosting an Autism Transition Workshop on May 12 via Zoom. Join us for a featured keynote titled “Creating a Transition Ramp Rather Than a Cliff” by Dr. Jane Thierfeld Brown of College Autism Spectrum: . This workshop will provide information for parents, students, K-12 educators and agency professionals, coaches and consultants about easing the transition from high school to college for students who identify on the autism spectrum and understanding college readiness and expectations. 


We will also provide sessions that include a panel of parents, a student panel, and presentations about college readiness, working with disability support services on campuses, success-based resources on campuses, and specific sessions on the Clemson LIFE program and the Clemson Spectrum program. An agenda with Zoom links will be sent to registrants prior to May 12th.
