Speaker: Valerie Daniels-Carter

Clemson's Rutland Institute for Ethics, College of Business, Women's Leadership, and Pan African Studies invite you to attend a reception and keynote address featuring motivational speaker Dr. Valerie Daniels-Carter, the largest black female restauranteur in America. Honored with innumerous awards, Dr. Daniels-Carter is president and chief executive officer of V&J Holding Companies, a 137-unit multi-brand fast food operation. Insisting on integrity, respect, excellence and passion, she is known for her corporate philosophy, YATSE: "You are the standard of excellence." She attributes her success to her faith in God, hard work, and "nothing is impossible" approach to life. The epitome of Clemson Tiger Integrity, she demonstrates by example how to live ethically, lead with confidence, and achieve success.
