Federal agencies support diverse, equitable, inclusive, and accessible work, research, and funding environments that value mutual respect and personal integrity, safe and harassment-free environments wherever science is conducted and where people can learn, grow, and thrive. The U.S. Department of Energy and the National Science Foundation have recently announced separate, but similar, requirements for addressing diversity and inclusion in research teams—which are required with your proposal and will be considered as part of merit review.
