Clemson Libraries and the Watt Family Innovation Center are pleased to kick off the Academic Innovation Series—a new series of discussions intended to highlight innovation in teaching, learning, and research at Clemson University—with an inaugural presentation by Dr. Joshua Catalano on Thursday, November 9th at 1:30pm in the Watt Family Innovation Center Auditorium and on Zoom.
Dr. Joshua Catalano is an assistant professor in the Department of History and Geography at Clemson University, where he teaches courses on digital and public history. Before coming to Clemson, he received his doctorate at George Mason University where he worked as a research assistant at the Roy Rosenzweig Center for History and New Media.
Dr. Catalano will present and lead a discussion on doing history in the digital age. Come to learn about some of the latest ways historians are using digital tools and computational methods to research and teach history and find out more about the Digital History Ph.D. program at Clemson University.
