About this Event
Welcome to the South Carolina 4-H Small Garden Project!
This project runs from April through July 2021. It is a hands-on environmental education program and an independent-study project that allows youth (ages 5-18) an opportunity to establish, maintain, and harvest a small garden. Youth will be supplied with a few seed packets and access to an online record book to get them started. Youth will be responsible for managing a small garden (50 sq ft.) and keeping records throughout the project season. Record books have been specifically designed for each age division. County-winning record books in the Junior and Senior age divisions will advance to the regional- and state-level for judging.
If you are not currently a South Carolina 4-H member, you will be asked to enroll on 4HOnline.com. Membership is $15 for the year and includes a t-shirt.
The registration deadline for the 4-H Small Garden Project is Friday, April 2, 2021.
