4-H Small Garden Project - REGISTRATION

Welcome to the South Carolina 4-H Small Garden Project!

This project runs from April through July 2020. It is a hands-on environmental education program and an independent-study project that allows youth (ages 5-18) an opportunity to establish, maintain, and harvest a small garden. Youth will be supplied with a few seed packets and access to a record book to get them started. Youth will be responsible for managing a small garden (50 sq ft.) and keeping records throughout the project season. Record books have been specifically designed for each age division. At the end of the project, youth will submit their record book for judging at the county level. County-winning record books in the Junior and Senior age divisions will advance to the regional- and state-level for judging.

If you are not currently a South Carolina 4-H member, you will be asked to enroll on Membership is $15 for the year and includes a t-shirt.

The registration deadline for the 4-H Small Garden Project is Friday, April 3, 2020.
