4-H2O is a hands-on science inquiry program that provides children ages 9-13 with knowledge about their local water resources. 4-H2O is a youth education program that has been held annually across the state for more than 12 years. Spanning across 12 counties in South Carolina, there are numerous opportunities for students to learn and experience this state's water resources first hand.
This year, due to COVID restrictions, 4-H2O will be a Workshop Week, with 3 days of hands-on environmental education for kids ages 9-13. Each session will be at a different location. No transportation will be provided this year. The workshop week is limited to 10 participants. Participants must be dropped off and picked up at each day's location:
Monday, June 28th: James Island County Park
Wednesday, Jun 30th: North Charleston (location within North Charleston TBD)
Friday, July 2nd: Isle of Palms Marina
Drop off: 8:30-9 am each day
Pick up: 2 pm each day
Activities will include a boat ride, fishing clinic, exploring water quality, and more!
