Join us for the 2024 South Carolina 4-H Small Garden Project, where youth will explore the joys of gardening in South Carolina.

This project is a hands-on environmental education program and an independent study project that allows youth an opportunity to establish, maintain, and observe a small garden. Youth learn concepts of goal setting, plant identification, pest management, and fiscal responsibility and have the opportunity to put that knowledge into practice. State and County Extension professionals will provide guidance, support, and resources throughout the growing season.

This project is open to South Carolina 4-H youth (5-18 years old). Current 4-H membership in 4HOnline is required for participation in this event.

Please note that this event and its coordinators do not assume custodial care of youth in attendance. Adults (parents, guardians, volunteers, coaches, or chaperones) must be present for the supervision of youth participants.
