Come one, come all to the 2019 First Friday Parade hosted by Central Spirit, Clemson University's premier spirit organization. This year's parade will be held on Friday, September 6, 2019, the day before kickoff against Texas A&M of the SEC! We can't wait to see all of your smiling faces for this time-honored Clemson tradition.
This year's parade theme is "Setting the Stage for Greatness" and aims to highlight how alumni contributions to our university have fostered greatness on and off the football field. From Clemson spirit to networking to packing Death Valley every other Saturday of the fall semester, Clemson would not be the same without her vast alumni network.
Central Spirit is excited to announce that Nancy O'Dell (c/o 1990) will serve as this year's grand marshal.
This year's parade will follow a new route. The route will again start at the intersection of Ravenel Rd and Centennial Blvd and travel south on Centennial Blvd. The route will turn left and travel through the commuter parking lot adjacent to Avenue of Champions. The route will then take a left onto Williamson Rd and then a right on Heisman St. The route will continue along Heisman St and will end at Historic Riggs Field.
If you would like to be a part of this great tradition, email Cam Walters, First Friday Parade Director, at the contact info below to get the necessary forms and information.
Also that day, the Clemson women's soccer team will host Oregon and 5 pm and the Clemson's men's soccer team will host UNC Greensboro at 7:30 pm for an exciting First Friday doubleheader!
