Using and Visualizing LiDAR in GIS: Fundamentals and Applications

In this hands-on workshop, you will learn how to create and manage 3D LiDAR datasets in ArcGIS. Applications using local LiDAR data include: creating high-resolution elevation models from LiDAR, performing viewshed analysis, optimizing solar panel placement, and forest canopy characterization.

This workshop is free for all Clemson students, staff, and faculty. Friday, March 2, 9:00am-12:00pm OR 2:00pm-5:00pm, in Cooper Library 406A. Preregister at bit.ly/gispreregister.
