The Immigrant Experience Book Display

Cooper’s March display features fictional works that center on the immigrant experience.

An emphasis has been placed on immigration to the United States and second-generation Americans, but alongside works such as Behold the Dreamers and Americanah are works like Refugee Tales, and more fantastical options like The Golem and the Jinni and Life of Pi.  Young adult novels such as 90 Miles to Havana, picture books like One Green Apple, and graphic novels like The Arrival and American Born Chinese are included, as are films such as Foreign Letters.

The display is located on the 4th floor of Cooper Library and will be up throughout the month of March.
