The one-day workshop will be held from 9AM-3:30 PM on Thursday, June 5th, at the USDA Vegetable Laboratory (2700 Savannah Highway, Charleston SC 29414).
The Sediment Basin Workshop will teach participants how to keep construction sites in compliance with requirements for sediment basin design, installation and maintenance under the revised SC Construction General Permit.
Attendees will learn why sediment control on construction sites is critical for water quality, how to implement the sediment basin design changes at their next project and what to expect in a compliance inspection.
Who Should Attend: Contractors, Engineers, Municipal and County Government Staff, CEPSCI Inspectors
