The SDP Steering Committee is hosting a morning of team-building exercises, led by a group of professionals. Lunch will be provided.
We will only be doing the Group Initiatives exercises - NOT High Ropes or Climbing Tower.
Following is important information from the Outdoor Lab regarding the Team Building Event:
Please plan to arrive at the Outdoor Lab by 8:45 a.m.
Please wear clothing and shoes that you will not mind getting a bit dirty.
Bring rain gear if it’s rainy. During the rainy or wet days we generally continue and use rain gear (you supply) when required. We take shelter during severe weather, such as thunderstorms.
All group members should dress to be outdoors (e.g., tennis shoes, rain gear, hat, gloves, jackets, etc.).
No open toe shoes allowed on the courses.
Upon arrival, all participants who are 18 years and older must sign an informed consent form before participating. Those under 18 must have a form signed by a parent or guardian before participating.
Facilitators will meet your group in the large parking lot across from the pool. Once on Charlie White Trail (the road into the Outdoor Lab) this will be the first large parking lot on your right. Park there.
The Team Building Event will begin promptly @ 9:00 am and end at around noon. We will have lunch at the Pavilion after our Team Building Event. If you have any dietary restrictions, please let me know no later than Friday, September 20.
