Organizing Your Research with RefWorks

RefWorks is a web-based bibliographic management software tool that allows Clemson University students, faculty, and staff the ability to store and manage citations, and ultimately create bibliographies in a number of different styles. References can be added manually, imported from commercial databases, or imported from online catalogs or search engines like Google Scholar. The user can create an unlimited number of folders, and the folders can store an unlimited number of references that can be accessed anywhere with an internet connection. This course will introduce you to the basic functionality of RefWorks, including setting up an account, creating folders, importing and manually adding references, managing references, installing the write-n-cite plug-in, write-n-cite functionality, and creating bibliographies.
