Miss SC 4-H Pageant- Accepting Applications

Over the past nine years Laurens County 4-H has hosted the Miss 4-H Pageant in Clinton, SC. The pageant has seen over 300 entries of amazing young women from across the state that share their love for 4-H. The pageant is not a beauty pageant. The contest has four divisions of competition: business attire, 4-H attire, formal attire and questions. Two of the four divisions strictly targeted the 4-H’ers. The 4-H attire allowed the contestants to show off the type of clothing they would wear for their 4-H project. During the question division the contestants were asked age-appropriate question about 4-H and/or their 4-H experience. The judges scored the contestants on poise, stage presence, speaking skills, personality and confidence. The pageant is held annually in an effort to raise funds for Laurens County 4-H. All funds raised will go to support 4-H clubs, programs and leadership opportunities in Laurens County.

The 2018 Miss 4-H Pageant will be held on January 13, 2018 at Clinton High School. Part A, youth ages 5-12, will start at noon. Part B, youth ages 13-19, will start at 6:00 pm.
