LECTURE - “An Introduction to BMW Joint Venture/BMW-Brilliance”

BMW Joint Venture (BMW-Brilliance) was founded in 2003. Joint Venture has now two vehicle plants, an engine plant, and an R&D center located in Shenyang, China. In 2013, the facility produced approximately 250,000 units including the 5 series, 3 series, and X1. Production capability will soon reach 600,000 units per year with an extension of the current plants. BMW Joint Venture is dedicated to quality and has been awarded the JDPower IQS Award three times in the last four years.



Dr. Yunhua Cao
Q-offensive Project Leader, BMW

Dr. Cao previously headed the Department of Quality Management and Other Engineering Functions at BMW Joint Venture in Shenyang.
He has a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering
from Zhejiang University.
