Leadership and Social Change Fall Break Trip

Tuesday, October 15, 2013

Alabama and Georgia

On this exciting and unique trip, students will visit historic landmarks and museums that commemorate the Civil Rights Movement in the cities of Birmingham, Montgomery, Selma, and Atlanta while learning about the people and events that fueled the transformative movement for freedom and equality within the United States.

In addition to exploring the Civil Rights movement as it happened, and as it is now remembered 50 years later, students will reflect on the ways the Civil Rights movement connects to leadership and contemporary social issues.
