On Saturday April 26th, we are excited to announce that there will be a JAMQUEST HOOPS Tournament at The Fike Recreation Center! This 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament, founded by an eighth grader six years ago, helps kids in Kenya, Africa who are affected by HIV/AIDS. Since 2008, JQH has raised over $40,000 to fund the efforts in Kenya.
Specifically, the JQH proceeds will be given to Kenya Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVC). This is an organization that works with children orphaned by AIDS living in poverty and depravation. Furthermore, additional proceeds will go to the HOPE worldwide chapter in Clemson, SC.
Adam Humphries and other Clemson Tiger Football players will be playing in the tournament. Dabo Swinney has said he wants to be there and there is hopes for ESPN to televise it. This is an event you DON'T want to miss!
Sponsored by Campus Advance, HOPE worldwide, SigmaPhiEpsilon, and Moe's Southwest Grill.
