The American Israel Chamber of Commerce, Southeast Region would like to invite you to a coffee on August 26 with our special guest Ann Liebschutz, Executive Director, U.S.-Israel Science and Technology Foundation (USISTF). This foundation is a Washington, DC based 501c3 non-profit organization founded by a joint initiative of the U.S. Department of Commerce and the Israel Ministry of the Economy with the mission of strengthening the scientific and R&D relationship of the U.S. and Israel to promote economic growth through innovation.
The meeting is being hosted by the Clemson MBA on August 26 at 10 a.m., Fifth Floor, One North Main Street, Greenville, SC.
USISTF is looking to actively engage academic institutions with interest in collaborative R&D with Israeli researchers. USISTF works closely with Israel's Chief Scientist's office, which has recently engaged with the SUNY college of Nanoscale Science & Engineering on a joint solicitation for leveraged funding. This model may be applied to South Carolina institutions. USISTF is also developing mechanisms for cooperative federal dollars in scientific areas of interest.
We look forward to your participation.
