We at the Clemson Center for Geospatial Technologies are excited to announce the free upcoming Geo-Visualization workshops for faculty, staff, and students at Clemson, offered August 2-5 from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. in 406A Cooper Library. Feel free to sign up for only one or several of the workshops.

- Open Refine and Google Fusion Tables, August 2
Learn how to clean, discover, and organize messy data and link it to other databases with Open Refine. Google Fusion Tables allows you to make simple but informative charts and maps from a tabular dataset.

- Tableau, August 3
Gain a thorough introduction to data analysis and visual design in Tableau, and learn how to build views and interactive dashboards.

- ESRI Story Maps, August 4
Build your own story map using ArcGIS Online with tips and tricks for effective storytelling and integration of digital media.

- Maps with Microsoft Office, August 5
Learn how to create a map directly from your spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel to answer location-related questions with ArcGIS Maps for Office.
