The Foundations exhibit features students who have completed the Foundation level studio courses in the Department of Art at Clemson University. The showcase is a reflection of explorations in to visual expression and problem solving. Introductory courses are critical, laying the groundwork from which students select a specialized studio area. These areas include ceramics, drawing, painting, photography, printmaking or sculpture. This exhibit is the first opportunity for the students to share their creative explorations with the public. After its initial showing in the Lee Gallery, Foundations II will travel to several showcase locations in the next academic year.
