The Spartanburg Small Business Development Center is excited to announce its FREE Federal Tax Topics workshop for prospective and new small business owners.

The Federal Tax Topics Workshop will cover:

  • What You Need to Know About Federal Taxes and Your New Business such as

EIN, Recordkeeping, Bookkeeping and accounting, Forms of business organization, working with a paid tax preparer

How to Set Up and Run Your Business so Paying Your Taxes Isn’t a Hassle such as 

Net profit or loss, Deductions, Depreciation, Self-employment tax and estimated tax

A packet of very helpful publications is given to each participant. The workshop will be held from 9:00 AM to 12:00 noon in Room 354A of the Spartanburg Community College (Tyger River Campus) at 1875 East Main Street in Duncan, SC 29334.
