Fall Harvest and Syrup Day

Saturday, November 9, 2013 at 9:00am to 3:00pm

2279 Harris Short Cut Rd. Conway, SC 29526

Horry County Museum's Living History Farm has invited Horry County 4-H to take part in their Fall Harvest and Syrup Day. The farm will have live demonstrations of syrup making, gristmilling, blacksmithing, saw milling, spinning, and peanut picking by the ways they were done in the 1900's to 1950's. Horry County 4-H will have fun filled activities for kids as well. There will be a pumpkin pie contest at 10 AM. Children of all ages are welcomed to bring a pumpkin pie they baked (with the help of a parent) to be judged. There will also be pinecone turkey making and gourd painting. Bring your children to participate in these activities and sign them up for 4-H.
