Faculty of the Future: Your Teaching Portfolio

A teaching portfolio is an electronic or paper collection of evidence of your teaching abilities, effectiveness, specialty areas, professional development and improvement efforts in teaching, and your teaching philosophy. An increasing number of institutions request the portfolio in the hiring and promotion processes. But what is considered acceptable "evidence?" How do you select what to put in your portfolio? How do you organize it? This one-hour workshop will answer these and other questions you may have on the teaching portfolio and will help you get started on gathering the evidence you will need. Presented by the Office of Teaching Effectiveness and Innovation. Register at: grad.clemson.edu/events/courseInfo.php?classSectionID=74
