If you haven’t diversified your customer base to include government agencies, now is the time. If adding a City, County, School District, State or Federal government agency to your client roster is a need, we can help you achieve that. No matter what you sell there is a good chance that a government agency buys it. The Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is hosting a program to provide Upstate businesses with information from and introductions to several types of government agencies.
We have put together an agenda that includes networking and presentations from South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT), General Services Administrations (GSA), South Carolina Office of Small and Minority Business Contracting (OSMBA), and the Small Business Administration (SBA). During this discussion we will walk through certification programs, online resources, and upcoming purchasing trends for each organization.
We will break for lunch and then conclude with a panel of buyers from multiple government organizations and school districts. We will host a moderated session with the panel and then conclude with a question and answer period. First-hand information and introductions will mean better outcomes for the businesses who attend.
The SBDC is excited to host this workshop full of valuable information and introductions. The workshop will be held at Greenville SBDC (One North Main ST., Greenville, SC 29601) on Friday, June 10. Check-in will be held from 8:30am-9:00am and the program will be held from 9:00am – 2:00pm. Lunch and parking vouchers will be provided and pre-registration is required.
