This conference is being hosted by the Spartanburg Small Business Development Center on OCTOBER 7, 2014 at the Spartanburg Community College Tyger River Campus from 8:30 am (registration) until noon. The conference has been designed to help emerging as well as existing small business owners learn how to take advantage of digital marketing methods to drive business growth.
Two different levels of content are being offered:
TRACK 1 New/Emerging Businesses:
8:30 am Registration
9:00 am Part I: DIY startup and e-commerce (branding, websites, blogging,
software platforms, and local coaches)
10:30 am Break
10:45 am Part II: Limited Budget marketing research, strategy, campaigns, freelance developers and self-maintained marketing tools
TRACK 2 Existing/Growing Businesses:
8:30 am Registration
9:00 am Part I: Existing website SEO/SEM. Using analytics from the CRM to
convert prospects to customers
10:30 am Break
10:45 am Part II: Social Media & Lead Generation (Social engagement, media platforms, email subscriptions, & use of newsletters)
