Want to know how to create 360 videos, Virtual Reality experiences, and learn what Augmented Reality really is, while producing them all in the same session? This is a 2 hour crash course designed to help you, and welcome to all majors as well as professional/artistic interests. The recent buzz that VR will affect every industry is very true, and 2017 is a very exciting year for this new mode of technological communication and artistic production. Join this part of the Southern Margins Film Festival and take your digital production skills to the next level.
While no previous video production experience is required, participants will need to download Adobe Premiere Pro beforehand. Please visit Wesley Smith at the Adobe Digital Studio on weekdays during 9am-5pm for questions on how to download the software, free to all students and faculty at Clemson. All footage/content for our session will be provided to participants beforehand via Google Drive. By the end of the session, participants will have learned the initial skills to edit and produce professional quality 360/VR/AR content!
To sign up: All who sign up are guaranteed to join the workshop. Send an email to Dr. Brian Adam Smith at basphd@g.clemson.edu, with the title "360 Video Workshop", and please provide your full name and a few words about your professional/artistic interests.
