Campus Conversation: Native American Heritage: a Student Forum for Discussion and Exchange

Explore Native American histories, family, and heritage in South Carolina. Learn about Esseneca, the Cherokee settlement upon which much of Clemson University stands. Experience the Botanical Gardens’ Cherokee Worldview Garden. Visit the Cherokee Museum in Walhalla. Explore Hopewell Plantation, built on Cherokee land. Hike to the Treaty Oak monument which commemorates territory agreements made with Natives that were broken.
